Tremorline brand
An API change is a tremor. Tremorline shows which lines of your code feel it, and how to fix them. Everything below serves that one idea.
Name
- Write it Tremorline: one word, capital T. Not TremorLine, Tremor Line or TL.
- Lowercase
tremorlineonly in code, URLs and package names. - Promise: See which lines of your code break when an API changes.
Logo
Three lines of code; the middle one is hit by the tremor. The mark works alone from 16 px; the full logo from 96 px wide.
- Keep clear space of half the mark's height on every side.
- Don't recolour, stretch, rotate, outline or add shadows. The tremor is always amber, the tile always indigo.
- On photos or busy backgrounds, use the mark alone.
Colour
Indigo carries the brand and every action. Amber appears only as the tremor, never as text. Green, amber and red stay reserved for results: works, warning, will break.

#4338CABrand, buttons, links - Signal amber
#FBBF24The tremor only - Ink

Type
- Space GroteskHeadings and the wordmark
- InterText and interface
- JetBrains MonoCode, paths, field names
All three are open source (SIL Open Font License) and served from our own domain, never from a font service.
Voice
- Specific over dramatic: "3 places will break", not "massive impact".
- Developer to developer: name the field, the file and the line.
- Calm: a tremor is information, not an emergency. No fear, no exclamation marks.
